PHOTOGRAPHIC EVIDENCE OF THE EXISTENCE OF THE LEGENDARY "GHOULS' CABARET!" |

|
Long thought apocryphal, the dreaded "Burlesque of the Dead" appears at each full moon at the old showbiz graveyard out by the dreaded Willows estate. Long left to fall to ruin, this ancient resting place of the theatrical dead resounds with the applause and laughter of the jittery zombie corpses of actor/managers, strippers, burlesque dancers, baggy pants comics, and stuntmen. These snapshots, taken by a gardener lost on his way to a John Deere convention, prove once and for all the existence of the ghosts' strip and grind, and the existence of God.
A frightened young couple huddle together for safety upon finding themselves captured by the evil denizens of the night. This characteristic "hugging" pose is common to most terrified civilians upon encountering such terrible creatures. Note the Wolfman's laconic attitude to his job, an all-too-common failing amongst Lupine lackeys. L to R: Michele Schlossberg, Adam Swiderski, Christiaan Koop, Michael Lester, Ian W. Hill, Robert Pinnock.
Could this feline impersonation be some sort of profane ritual to appease the ancient Gods? Or is this pussycat just shaking her shimmy to excite these two monstrous fiends? We may never know the answer. L to R: Miss Lora Marie, Adam Swiderski, Ian W. Hill.
Could this glamourous figure be the ghostly afterglow of a once-desired pinup queen? Or is that faint but unmistakable smell of thick perfume just a wonderful mirage? God, we hope it's for real. Above: The World Famous Bob.
Upon confronting such an unexpected sight as this, you might run screaming away from the damp, foggy graveyard... but, for Heaven's sake man, why WOULD you? L to R: The World Famous Bob, Adam Swiderski, Ian W. Hill.
Even the Mummy finds his special someone in this ghoulish mating ground of the deceased. Witness in horror and recalcitrance as a long dead Queen of the Nile arises from her grave (inexplicably located just outside of Los Angeles) to tease and please our bandaged friend, much to the delight of his hirsute chum! L to R: Adam Swiderski, Miss Kelly Webb, Ian W. Hill.
