Don't get up... we'll come to you.

Welcome to DMTheatrics' Ear Theater...  if you're not able to come to NYC to see our work, can't get out of the house, are afraid to come below 14th Street (you wuss), or simply can't get enough of us (what??) -- or maybe you just can't afford our shows (yeah, like we can afford what it costs to make 'em) --  Ear Theater comes to your rescue!  Check back often -- this page will soon be chock full of cool noises, audio files, and various other twiddly things that make neat sounds.  Trailers from past and current shows, clips from past performances, exclusive web-only content, and, starting this fall, a semi regular series of web-based radio plays will fill this page to capacity.  Formats will vary according to program length and content, but if you have RealPlayer or can download MP3's, you will be in luck!

From the DMT production of the Trav S.D. musical...

IT'S TIME FOR SOME PREACHIFYING!

These sermons appear courtesy of KFRM radio, and feature the voice of Preacher Bob Maggot, sermonizing to his congregation live and in person in his very own chapel.  We apologize for any audio deficiencies that may occur due to poor reception and cheap microphones.  These sermons are presented in the popular RealPlayer audio format for maximum frustration.

Temple of the Body/Christ and the Moneylenders (John 2)

THE POP CULTURE FIND OF THE DECADE!!!!

Discovered in the basement of a recording studio in midtown Manhattan during renovation and disinfecting, these tapes -- now known as "The Legendary Hooler Tapes" -- feature Kookamonga Falls warmup comic and Atlantic City legend Jimmy Hooler, in his pre-superstardom period, berating and antagonizing a hapless rookie sound engineer!  Listen in shock and awe as this holy grail of underground audio reveals the dark side of this beloved comic and KF "Kook" favorite!

Special thanks to hardcore Kooks Josh Mertz and Frank Cwiklik, and the janitorial staff at Youthquake! Studios, for this remarkable find!

(Please note:  these tapes were discovered in an advanced state of deterioration and will show their age.  However, we feel that the historical value of these recordings far outweighs their technical limitations.)
